The Park North Project on 111th Street, just North of Central Park, includes the buildings:

201. W. 111^th Street,
203-205 W. 111^th Street,
217-219 W. 111^th Street
233-235 W. 111^th Street.

– There are 89 units in the 4 buildings. Of these, 39 are LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) units in our buildings. These units are subject to Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code and NY Rent Stabilization Law.

All other units are also subject to Rent Stabilization Laws

We have submitted 18 serious questions to the DHCR under FOIL (Freedom of Information Law) about the legal status of the Park North Project.

We believe this response however incomplete and unsatisfactory confirms a series of violations, most especially regarding the failure to comply with Annual Recertification as required by Section 42 of the IRS code, as well as failure to comply with “Right of First Refusal” denied to tenants in the sale of the property.
